Faraday Future launches nine AI robots at 919 event, with a humanoid starting at $9,990
What new AI robots can you actually buy right now? Nine of them. Faraday Future (NASDAQ: FFAI) held its 919 FF EAI Robotics launch on Saturday, September 19, unveiling nine new robot configurations across five models — all of them available for sale and delivery immediately, the company announced.
The headline grabber is the FF Master Mini: a 95-centimeter compact humanoid aimed at education and robot sports, starting at $9,990 ($12,990 Pro, $17,990 Ultra), with 48 to 200 TOPS of computing power depending on configuration. At the top end sits the FF All-New Futurist flagship humanoid at $89,900 (Standard) to $129,900 (Ultra), powered by NVIDIA Jetson Thor with 700 TOPS of compute, aimed at university research and enterprise work. In between are three FX Aegis robot dogs for security and inspection: the Classic Ultra-W at $12,990, the Mega at $74,990, and the industrial-grade Hyper starting at $137,900.
Faraday Future also launched four Industry Productivity Solutions — packages for K-12 education, university research, security, and inspection that bundle robots with curriculum, SDKs, and management software. Orders run through FF.com, Amazon, and RobotShop, alongside a RoboShare robot-sharing rental network. The company says its robotics products carried about a 30% average contribution margin in Q2. More events follow this week: a Middle East partner launch on September 23 and a “Built in USA” partner conference on September 28.
Why it matters
A sub-$10,000 humanoid is a price milestone that puts programmable AI robots within reach of schools, small businesses, and hobbyists — not just research labs. The K-12 education solution is the real tell: robots are being packaged for classrooms, with curricula in Blockly, Python, and ROS. The honest caveat: Faraday Future is a small, formerly EV-focused company — the hardware is shipping, but verify before betting a project budget on it.
